Ghepan Lake Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Manali to Sissu – Trek to Base Camp

Drive from Manali through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu. After preparations and a short trek, reach the first campsite and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Lahaul Valley.

Day 2: Base Camp to Higher Camp

Begin trekking through alpine meadows, rocky terrain and glacial streams. The trail gradually gains altitude as you move deeper into the Ghepan Valley.

Day 3: Higher Camp to Ghepan Lake and Back

The most exciting day of the trek. Trek towards the spectacular Ghepan Lake, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and glaciers. Spend time enjoying the scenery before returning to the campsite.

Day 4: Camp to Sissu – Drive to Manali

Descend through the beautiful Himalayan landscape towards Sissu. After completing the trek, drive back to Manali.

The itinerary may be adjusted according to weather, trail conditions, group fitness and local administration guidelines.

Best Time for Ghepan Lake Trek

The best season for the Ghepan Lake Trek is generally June to October, when the trekking route is accessible and the surrounding landscapes are at their most beautiful. Weather conditions in the high Himalayas can change quickly, so the final itinerary is always subject to local conditions.

Difficulty Level: Moderate to Difficult

The trek involves steep ascents, high-altitude terrain, rocky sections, stream crossings and variable weather. Regular physical training and proper acclimatization are strongly recommended.

Cancellation Policies

1 . All the cancellations must be communicated in written.

2. Token amount is non refundable in any cases.

3. Cancellations made 15 Days prior to travel date will attract cancellation charges.

4. Cancellations charges will vary from 25 % - 50% of the total tour package cost.

5.100 % Retention charges will be levied for bookings cancelled within 15 days of travel date or

6. No show scenarios.

7. No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other HIMALAYA EXPERT services.

8. HIMALAYA EXPERT have the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount i.e. 50% of the total tour Package Cost.

7. In case, clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behavior, HIMALAYA EXPERT will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
