BEAS KUND TREK ITINERARY

DAY 01: MANALI – SOLANG VALLEY – DHUNDI – BAKAR THATCH

Drive: Manali to Dhundi
Trek: Dhundi to Bakar Thatch
Trek Distance: Approx. 4–5 km
Duration: 3–4 hours
Altitude: Approx. 10,500–11,000 ft
Stay: Camp

Your Beas Kund adventure begins in Manali.

After breakfast, drive towards Solang Valley and Dhundi, the starting point of the trek.

Begin walking through beautiful mountain terrain alongside the Beas River. The trail gradually climbs through alpine landscapes before reaching Bakar Thatch, a spectacular meadow surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.

Set up camp and enjoy your first evening in the mountains.

DAY 02: BAKAR THATCH – BEAS KUND – BAKAR THATCH

TREK TO THE SOURCE OF THE BEAS RIVER

Trek Distance: Approx. 8–10 km
Duration: 5–7 hours
Maximum Altitude: Approx. 12,772 ft / 3,893 m
Stay: Camp

Start early after breakfast for the main objective of the trek.

The trail climbs gradually through alpine terrain towards Beas Kund. Depending on the season, you may encounter snow patches, glacial streams and rocky sections.

Reach the beautiful Beas Kund, a small high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by dramatic Himalayan peaks.

Spend some time exploring the area and enjoying the spectacular mountain views before beginning the descent back to Bakar Thatch.

DAY 03: BAKAR THATCH – SOLANG VALLEY – MANALI

Trek Distance: Approx. 7–8 km
Duration: 4–5 hours
Drive: Dhundi to Manali

After breakfast, begin your descent towards Dhundi.

Enjoy the changing scenery as the trail moves from high-altitude meadows back towards the forests and lower Himalayan landscape.

Reach Dhundi and drive towards Manali via Solang Valley.

Check into your hotel and relax after the trek.

DAY 04: MANALI – DEPARTURE

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.

Your Beas Kund Trek adventure concludes in Manali.

Depending on your onward travel plans, transportation can be arranged towards Chandigarh, Delhi, Shimla or the airport/bus stand.

Beas Kund is generally considered a moderate trek.

It is suitable for physically fit beginners who are comfortable walking several hours in mountain terrain.

Cancellation Policies

1 . All the cancellations must be communicated in written.

2. Token amount is non refundable in any cases.

3. Cancellations made 15 Days prior to travel date will attract cancellation charges.

4. Cancellations charges will vary from 25 % - 50% of the total tour package cost.

5.100 % Retention charges will be levied for bookings cancelled within 15 days of travel date or

6. No show scenarios.

7. No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other HIMALAYA EXPERT services.

8. HIMALAYA EXPERT have the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount i.e. 50% of the total tour Package Cost.

7. In case, clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behavior, HIMALAYA EXPERT will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
